Final Versions of California’s Cannabis Regulations Released

On December 7, 2018, California’s three cannabis licensing agencies — the Bureau of Cannabis Control, the Department of Food & Agriculture, and the Department of Public Health — released their final versions of the regulations that will govern the cannabis industry, which have been submitted to the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) for review. The regulations will not be effective until the OAL completes their review, which will happen sometime in January. In the meantime, we’ve included links to the regulation documents below, as well as the agencies’ Final Statements of Reasons, or FSORs. Stay tuned to our blog for an analysis of some of the key provisions that are included in these regulations.
