Today, the California Department of Cannabis Control launched CannaConnect, a virtual compliance resource hub for cannabis operators. The hub contains several useful resources, including but not limited to:
- “You’re Licensed: Now What?“
- “What to Expect When You’re Inspected“
- “Requirements for Provisional Licenses“
- “Key Dates for Provisional Licenses“
- “Annual License Application Checklist“
- “How to Make a Premises Diagram“
- “Packaging Checklist“
- “Guide to Child-Resistant Packaging“
- “Labeling Requirements: Manufactured Cannabis Products in Final Form“
- “Labeling Requirements: Non-manufactured Products in Final Form“
- Form DCC-LIC-029: “Notifications and Requests Regarding Testing Laboratories“
- Form DCC-LIC-027: “Notifications and Requests to Modify a License“
- Form DCC-LIC-028: “Notifications and Requests Regarding Regulatory Compliance“
Some of these are new; others were created sometime in the last year. There are also new pages for “CEQA Review for Cannabis Businesses” and “Compliance with State Law,” as well as a new YouTube video about “How to Attach a Track-and-Trace Tag to a Cannabis Plant.” For the latest updates, be sure to check the DCC’s website regularly.
