CDPH Issues Outreach Letter Regarding Hemp Manufacturing

The Food and Drug Branch (FDB) of the California Department of Public Health has issued an Outreach Letter to individuals and businesses interested in the State’s new Industrial Hemp Enrollment and Oversight (IHEO) Authorization for manufacturing hemp products and extracts. (We previously discussed hemp manufacturing and AB 45 here, here and here.) The letter includes information related to IHEO application packets and applicable requirements. The FDB has also added some webpages and online resources related to IHEO Authorization.
