Cannabis Sales and Consumption Allowed at CA State Fair; Firm Attorney to Speak

We are honored to be part of the California State Fair Cannabis Awards & Exhibit again this year! Our Founder and Managing Partner Omar Figueroa is an official CA State Fair Cannabis Ambassador, and both Omar and Lauren spoke at the inaugural CA State Fair Cannabis Awards & Exhibit in 2022.

This year, our Junior Partner Lauren Mendelsohn will be speaking at the fair. Her talk, “Cannabis Policy in California: Where did we come from, where are we now and where are we going?” will take place from 2:00pm – 3:00pm on Sunday, July 28 at the Cannabis Exhibit stage inside the fairgrounds. For the first time ever, cannabis sales and consumption will be allowed at the California State Fair, which is a monumental milestone. The speaker stage is located inside the consumption area, so attendees of legal age (the entire exhibit is restricted to fairgoers 21+) can enjoy California-grown cannabis while learning about a variety of topics related to this plant and the policies surrounding it.
